What is Entegris PSS?
PSS here means Particle Sizing Systems, LLC. Entegris announced its acquisition on January 22, 2018. The current Entegris AccuSizer SPOS and Nicomp DLS product pages identify the two particle-analysis routes covered here.[1–3] A series name is a starting point; the exact instrument, sampling system, sensor, software and supplied accessories must be identified in the quotation.

Make sampling, dilution and cleaning part of acceptance.
For an online installation, document sampling representativeness, transport delay, bypass arrangements and switching/cleaning. For bottle samples, preserve sample identification, mixing, dilution, blanks and repeat-test settings. Settling, bubbles, concentration effects and carryover can affect comparability even when the optical measurement runs successfully.
The A7000 DI datasheet describes operating modes, mixing, individual pipette tips and washing.[5] These features identify validation work; they do not establish zero carryover for every sample. Range, flow, pressure, wetted materials, calibration, sample compatibility and acceptance criteria need the exact configuration and current controlled documents.
Build a comparable PSS procurement request.
A useful RFQ includes the complete model or nameplate, sample medium/SDS, concentration and permitted composition information, size or LPC target, sample volume, online/bottle/syringe route and expected workload. Add the installation location, utilities, communications, data retention, software version/licensing, calibration documents, IQ/OQ, training and maintenance scope.
