Japan semiconductor ecosystem

Official information documents the current semiconductor expansion in Hokkaido and Kumamoto. Rapidus states that its Chitose pilot line began operation in April 2025, while Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry describes the developing Chitose ecosystem and an open R&D centre for companies and universities.
